Oh, how cute they are - these gnomes - these fabulous dwarves from the Norse mythology.

Dwarves are usually depicted as being of medium height, stocky, very strong. Male dwarves usually wear thick beards. In fairy tales, they are a major source of mystery and wonder. They can be tricky, magical, dark and light. In Tolkien's stories, they are not only rich, but also warlike and run with a hatchet, like Indians.

But the gnome on the spoon, in a blue jacket, not warlike at all, though he protects the real "riches" - 20 grams of pure silver!
