U.S. Great Seal is used to authenticate the documents issued by the Government of the United States of America. It always kept by the U.S. Secretary of State.
On the front side (obverse) of the Great Seal of the United States shows bald eagle which is one of symbols of the country. It holds in one paw thirteen arrows, a symbol of war, and the other an olive branch, a symbol of peace. A cup spoon contains a magnificent building in the Empire style - the Capitol, seat of the U.S. Congress.
